The Dude Diet: The Book Trailers

I have a Thanksgiving hangover in the best possible way. I ate too much, drank too much, and felt really, really thankful for so many things. (My family! My fee-ahn-say! My new potato ricer! Beyoncé! My besties! Puppies dressed as turkeys! YOU!) I feel scarily full and a little fuzzy right now, but I’m still riding my gratitude high and it’s pretty awesome.

One of the things I’m most grateful for these days is the unbelievable support I’ve gotten re: The Dude Diet. After two long years in the pipeline, it’s pretty fucking surreal to see The DD out in the world, and I can’t communicate the depth of sheer relief joy I feel every time I get a book-related missive, read an Amazon review from a satisfied Dude Dieter, or see a successful #dudedietbook creation on the interwebs. It makes me giddy. 2015 and 2016 involved a lot of sweating and crying, but the bulk of late 2016’s perspiration and tears have been of the happy/excited variety, so things are on the up and up, friends. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: HUGE thank you to all who stuck with their weird blog lady throughout the crazy process, bought the book and helped spread the word. You are wonderful, and I appreciate you.

I’ve been slowly rolling out some DD book trailers on Instagram or Facebook over the past month, but I decided to gather them all right here for those who may not be into the social media game. Perhaps have a cocktail and do a group viewing with your family? Then argue (lovingly) over who needs The Dude Diet the most?

First up, we have the “official” book trailer, aka The Dude Diet Quiz

And now the Extended Cut Part 1:

Part DEUX:

Here’s where my roommate articulates some interesting thoughts on the most important meal of the day:

And then come the issues with Game Day snacking:

Finally, some of my favorite dudes pledge allegiance to The Dude Diet, and I love them for it.

Happy weekend, friends! Catch you on the flip.

p.s. Yes, one of the studly dudes in these videos is my brother. Yes, the family resemblance is strong. Yes, he is single.
