Artisinal Cheese Plate

Yields: 8 -10 servings

Ingredients

  • ¼ pound thinly sliced prosciutto
  • ¼ pound thinly sliced salami any variety you like will do
  • 6 fresh figs halved length-wise
  • 1 fresh mozzarella ball
  • 1 log/ball herbed goat cheese
  • 1 wedge of any hard salty cheese such as pecorino romano or parmigiano reggiano
  • *Serve with a crusty baguette flatbread, or your favorite crackers

Instructions

  • Roll up your meats into cylinders.
  • Place the sliced figs in the center of a cheese board (or large plate/cutting board), pile the meats diagonally across from each other, and then add the cheeses in the remaining two corners. If you like, pre-slice about half of each cheese.
