New York (and surrounding area) friends, this little update is mostly for you!!

It’s long been a dream of mine to have my food served in a restaurant. But since I’ve never wanted to actually start my own restaurant or cook on the line in one, achieving this life goal seemed borderline impossible. Until my fairy godmother, aka Elisa Marshall, queen of the Maman empire, stepped in and sprinkled her magical fairy dust alllll over this weird blog lady.

When Elisa asked if I’d like to be a guest chef and collaborate on a menu of seasonal specials and a series of events at the recently opened Marché Maman, I literally jumped at the chance. (If you’re not picturing me bouncing like Buddy the Elf and shrieking, “I love you, I love you, I looooove you!” at Elisa, you should be. I have zero self-restraint these days.)

Together, the fabulous team at Marché Maman and I picked six of my favorite recipes, three of which are ripped from the pages of The Dude Diet, to be served as an all-day menu in the café. Over the past few weeks, we’ve worked hard to perfect the portions, plating, and service of these dishes, and I couldn’t be more pumped to announce that you and yours can go in and try them yourselves NOW through Thanksgiving Day.

I took my roommate to brunch yesterday to taste the full menu, and honestly, watching the dude enthusiastically crush the mac and cheese he inspired was one of the highlights of my year (after marriage and Logan getting locked in the bathroom on our minimoon, duh). Having a restaurant without having to have your own restaurant is THE BEST!

In other exciting news, I will also be hosting two very fun and delicious events at Marché Maman:

Serena — will you be hosting anymore in-person events/doing another guest menu in NYC again anytime soon? I was SO bummed to miss both of these (I’m local in NYC) as holiday preparations/life got crazy and crept up on me!

Wow! Congratulations on getting to do the restaurant thing without having to open a restaurant. Even though I am fortunate to live no where near NYC, this would make me at least want to visit. I am very impressed with what you’ve achieved.
