I’ve got some fabulous ideas for a variety of humans: Dudes (below), Beauty and Wellness Enthusiasts, Home Cooks and Food Lovers, and Home and Style Mavens. 

We all know that holidays aren’t about the presents. BUT you may also know that giving presents can be the best, and I take great pleasure in helping you find the perfect present for someone you love, especially the tough giftees. (I feel you. Everyone in my family is shockingly difficult to shop for.)

As always, my hope is that these gift guides help make shopping for your people a little bit easier and more fun. And reminder that there is zero shame in forwarding these gift guides to significant others/family members with the subject “Hint, hiiiint.”

2022 Holiday Gift Guide for Dudes:

Made In Carbon Steel Griddle + Stainless Steel Press. For sandwich lovers, pancake kings, and all food-loving dude in between, this griddle will level up any meal on the stovetop and grill. The griddle heats quickly and evenly like only carbon steel can, and the press is perfect for maximizing the crisp and caramelization on everything from grilled cheese to smash burgers. This bad boy is also pre-seasoned (hallelujah!) and naturally nonstick, which makes for super easy cleanup.

Sh•t That I Knit NFL Beanie. I have been a longtime fan of STIK, which is a fantastic women-owned company that employs Peruvian artisans to handcraft their fantastic knitwear. They recently secured an NFL contract, so you can now keep your sports fan’s head cozy in STIK’s signature merino wool beanie emblazoned with their favorite team.

Jackfir Facekit. Dudes deserve to pamper their skin, too! Sustainably-minded Jackfir makes effective men’s skincare products with the highest quality, allergy- and dermatologist-tested natural ingredients. This kit includes cleanser, moisturizer, and shaving cream, and will deliver some serious (and possibly much needed) TLC to any man’s face.

Art Deco Backgammon Set. This backgammon set is really, really ridiculously good-looking, so it doubles as coffee table/shelf décor. Win-win.

Art Stones. Whiskey stones are the ultimate men’s gift guide copout, so I almost didn’t include these. BUT these are the most unique cocktail stones I’ve seen, and who am I to potentially rob an artsy cocktail-loving dude of his perfect present?!

Leatherology Laptop Case. As far as practical gifts go, this is a sexy one. This classic leather case, which comes in several classic colors, is a very stylish home for a laptop. Plus, you can customize it with a dude’s initials! (I find most men enjoy things with their initials on them…)

Arccos Smart Sensors. I got this for Logan this year, and I forgot to hide them. He saw them on the dining room table and got very excited! Not gonna lie, I do not really understand what they do, but the description says: These golf tracker sensors tightly integrate Arccos hardware and software to pinpoint a player’s shots throughout the round. The latest technology captures 98% of all tee shots, making it the most reliable way to track your game and improve your performance. That sounds cool.

Homage Retro Sports Gear. The homage website is bursting with supersoft vintage-inspired tees, sweatshirts, jackets, hats and so much more featuring all manner of sports teams. Logan is a very proud owner and proponent of Homage gear and instructed me to spread the good word.

Stash Book. This aesthetically pleasing book is actually a velvet-lined box that would be a fun and useful present for both organized/neat freaks and dudes who leave their stuff all over the console/bureau/everywhere! It can be used for valuable storage and stashed on a bookshelf for safekeeping OR stuffed with essentials and left out on a desk/coffee table to minimize clutter.

Berkel Home Line 200 Meat Slicer. Should anyone be looking to both spoil and thrill a meat lover or sandwich aficionado, this (arguably beautiful) slicer would be a home run. It has a compact design for home use and a chromed steel blade that will slice and shave their favorite meaty delicacies to perfection. Comes in both black and a very fetching shade of red.

Jealous Devil Charcoal. Reward a naughty boy with some coal this Christmas! (Had to.) This restaurant-quality charcoal is made from pure South American hardwoods with no chemicals or fillers, burns fantastically (it cooks hotter and longer), and imparts fantastic (but still subtle) flavor. According to my live-in smoke master, it’s one of the best charcoals on the market…

Big Green Egg Rotisserie. Do you also have a Big Green Egg nutjob enthusiast in your life? If so, I imagine they may be lusting over the recently released BGE rotisserie attachment, and you can be the person who makes their wildest revolving meat fantasies a reality! You’re the best!

Halfday Garment Duffel. Part garment bag, part duffel, this ingenious lightweight bag may just change a frequent traveler’s life. The hanging compartment can fit a suit or tux and some dress shirts, then zips up with enough room for shoes (there are two interior shoe compartments!) and folded clothes for a short trip. It’s also water-resistant, TSA/carry-on compliant, and folds completely flat. What more could a dude ask for?!

Apple AirTags. Give the gift of peace of mind! You’ve probably seen AirTags on every gift guide this year, but I’d be remiss not to include them here because they really are a game changer for keeping tabs on everything from checked baggage to keys, wallets, and anything else one may be prone to losing track of. The AirTags connect to the owner’s iPhone/iPad, and you can find their location by asking Siri or playing a noise on the built-in speaker. An AirTag-friendly wallet or keychain could be a great add-on if you’re feeling generous.

Insulated Summit Slipper Boot. Thanks to nylon insulation and a textured rubber outsole (it’s non-marking, don’t worry!), these indoor/outdoor slippers will keep a dude’s feet nice and toasty whether he’s puttering around the house or running a quick errand. The stub-proof toe box (for what the brand calls “shuffling-in-the-dark danger”) also speaks to me. If the nylon lewk isn’t your favorite, the slippers also come in wool and super cozy sherpa.

David Yarrow Photography Book. Should you know an animal enthusiast, this outrageously beautiful book is guaranteed to please (and begs to be displayed). David Yarrow is one of the world’s most celebrated photographers of endangered species, and this oversize tome features 150 of his most iconic photographs.
